Gosh it feels so good to give this bathroom a mini refresh. Like I always say - it is crazy what you can do with paint, hardware and some new decor. I can't wait to be able to rip the tile off and dig into a renovation with you guys on this one but for now until we tackle the other projects - this will have to do! Thank you for the love and support lately xx.

  • I have so much respect for Rachel, 9/10 I seen ladies relying on their boyfriends to do most of the work and then the lady just films and paints. Rachel literally does everything on her own and relies on nobody, Mad respect.

  • My bathroom is a similar size and layout but I am not allowed to hang shelves and they advise against curtain rods. But the "back of the door hanger" doesn't work because you can't close the door when you do. I am not certain how to work around the issue as a renter. Any ideas? I thought maybe screwing a hook or rod directly in to the door ? Since I couldn't hang shelves I settled for tiny baskets (much smaller load capacity but holds accessories and my brush really well) and under sink storage.

    Tiny BirdTiny Bird4 months ago
    • You may just need a thinner door hook.

  • Try to use plastic pots for the plants in the shower because if the plants fall by accident while you’re in the shower, bad news. Also no glass jars or bottles in the shower either!!

  • OK so if I send you pictures of my small bathroom can you give me some tips on how to make mine as cute as yours... There is a cabinet on my wall and my mirror that I want to take off.. Also there is some handicap bars in my shower That I'm trying to figure out if I can take off without having to redo my whole entire shower I don't know I don't know how to do any of this stuff and I'm so nervous to do it but I want it done so badd maybe there's a way I can send you some pictures and you can give me some tips and some ideas.??

  • Love the shelf above the toilet, but can you still reach the water tank if you needed to? Seems like that might be hard if it's screwed down. Props to you on doing this on such a limited budget! I'd think bathrooms would end up being the most money to upgrade.

  • I love plants and plants in the bathroom are my decor dream, but, alas, my bathroom has absolutely no windows and no light. I had to compromise with artificial plants... And regarding the plants, I have an honest question here: those above the windows and close to the ceiling don't get much light, am I right? How do you care for them? Do you take them down and put them under some light or the Sun a little once in a while? How often do you do this to keep them happy and thriving?
